As the automotive industry broadens its composite technology from chopped-fiber to continuous-fiber applications, Aligned Vision is enabling this advancement with our kitting, assembly, inspection and documentation capabilities – all key to the viability of making several thousand components of a kind. For example, continuous-fiber battery enclosures for electric cars have successfully passed manufacturability criteria. Aligned Vision delivered the largest laser system for wind turbine fabrication, with 20 LASERGUIDE projectors. We meet the challenges of larger structures with the highest quality, most efficient laser systems available. Critical to producing wind turbine blades and tooling are Aligned Vision’s multitasking capabilities, as well as our advanced remote controls that enable operators to change patterns at the tool, and our metrology interface.


Following extensive evaluation, LASERGUIDE was chosen in 2000 as the first laser projection system for chassis production.

LASERGUIDE‘s technical superiority, ability to deal with projection interferences and fast response to accommodate short production cycles have made LASERGUIDE a preferred system among several Formula 1 racing teams.

Following extensive onsite evaluation of laser systems running on the customer’s applications, LASERGUIDE was selected to provide references for welding and fixture location. An 85% improvement in part location efficiency has been documented by the customer.

LASERGUIDE was selected over the competition because Multitasking and AutoAim allow a single projector to perform automatically in 8 set-ups with multiple operators. LASERGUIDE automatically indexes the projector’s field through 360 degrees without requiring any aiming activity by the operators.

Multiple remote controls allow multiple operators to proceed independently in each projection zone, providing detailed text information, without flicker, to each operator. The flexible LASERGUIDE Data Interface allows the customer to interface data directly to LASERGUIDE without running intermediate software applications after customer data export.


LASERGUIDE is now used to improve efficiency and guide production of high-end composite bicycles.
