At this year’s IMTS, Aligned Vision will unveil new features and applications for our unique, AI-driven automatic inspection and our flagship model-based 3D laser projection solutions.

Prompted by the front-page news early this year about the quality escape that led to the Alaska Air incident, the Aligned Vision team has been inspired to help manufacturers eliminate quality escapes. Matt will focus on this topic in his presentation, “A Systems Solution to Quality Escapes from Manual Manufacturing Processes,” Tuesday, September 10 at 3:15 pm in Room W193-B.
Aligned Vision partner Bluco, maker of modular workholding solutions, will be featured in our booth as we demonstrate new developments in LASERGUIDE laser projection. With ALIGN 4.0 software, LASERGUIDE now creates projection files directly from CAD using the new LASERPATH application, in addition to importing data from design-manufacturing programs like Fibersim and 3DEXPERIENCE. Our collaborative work with Bluco will accelerate quality fabrication in welding shops and other assembly operations.
Experts at our booth will also share advancements to our LASERVISION-AI solution. AI-based analysis is now a mature, commercialized and proven feature of LASERVISION-AI – the only large-field automatic inspection system of its kind. Applied to series production of large aerostructures, LASERVISION-AI recently demonstrated better than six sigma reliability.
For large, complex products and assemblies, LASERVISION-AI now captures ultra-high resolution image from as far as 15 meters away, inspecting areas as large as 15m by 15m when mounted on the ceiling of large composites construction bays.
